History

Oaxaca is a beautiful town the near Mixtecan-Zapotecan ruins of Monte Alban. The town is beautiful, full with color and flavor. The spaniards took advantage of the problemas between the different Mixtecan tribes and settled one of the most important cities in Mexico.

The Convento de Santo Domingo, is one of the most amazing churches worldwide. The construction started in the year 1551 and ended in 1666.

Transportation: Bus from Mexico City. You can buy it at any bus station. Unfortunately train travel is not available and is not very common in Mexico.
