History
Palenque is a Maya site near the Usumacinta River in Chiapas, which is a southern state of Mexico. The structures were meant to respond to the attacks of the city. The king B'aakal governed Palenque in the year 431. This a complex of interconnected buildings that where built and modified for four hundred years. It is located in the central zone and it's name is for the conjuction of yards and the tower of the four bodies. See more...
