Tonina

This sacred place is an enourmous artificial mountain constructed over a small natural mountain range to the north of the valler of Ocosingo. Over sever plataforms temples and palaces were construced forming a monumental labyrinth. Around the big acropolis and in the valley agricultural and residencial buildings were built. Tonina was a military power, stone prisioner sculpture had been found in the zone. The central figures of the ball game are two prisionares one of the was the governor of Palenque named Kan Hul.
